<Mikael & Nordfeldth> (mmn)'s status on Sunday, 15-Jan-2017 22:20:16 CET <Mikael & Nordfeldth> People don't even know what right-clicking is anymore. They barely know how to copy a link at all, since they just press "Share to Shitbook" and have no idea how to publish URLs on their own.

The EU Commission wants to introduce an extra copyright for news sites that would make how you share articles today illegal – unless money changes hands."

steckerhalter (steckerhalter)'s status on Sunday, 15-Jan-2017 23:22:11 CET steckerhalter What I also notice is that they don't know the difference between searching the web (e.g. googling) and going to an url any longer.
When #Chrome first unified the search and url bar, I thought it is nice. But now I see that it caused people to get really confused.
Of course #Google is very happy with the result because people almost always go through them now even if it wouldn't be necessary...

mangeurdenuage (mangeurdenuage)'s status on Tuesday, 24-Jan-2017 04:41:36 CET mangeurdenuage The sad part is that it's true.
Today I had to explain how to add an image into a document because they couldn't drag and drop the image for x reasons.
I had to explain them that their was in the up right section of the window multiple menus with options and in the one called "Insertion" you could insert images and more.
They found it but they didn't know where the file was since no one knows what is a file hierarchy or to visualize it.
People uses tools all the time and they don't know 1% of how to use it.
This is exacerbing.
It's exacerbing because you will repeat it to the same persons again and again and there is little chance that they'll remember.
