This is the super tough #hydrogel. It’s made of 90% #water and can stretch without breaking to more than 20 times its original length. It also recoils like a rubber and regains its #original #shape. It #displays self-healing properties and could be used for several #applications including #replacing #cartilage for knee #surgery, replacing #injured #tendons and #ligaments, wound #repair and #drug #delivery.
