I've moved over to using the backports version of the Tor daemon in #Freedombone, which is a more recent version. The next generation onion addresses won't be available until at least version 0.3.2, and I expect that will appear in Debian sometime in the not too distant future. Once that happens then supporting them in Freedombone is an easy one line change.
