If I ride into #deletefacebook wave, would not promote another public social network(superior but not from privacy standpoint)
I would recommend to people be careful with own sensitive information, period.
If they want good alternative to whole FB-like social network, just tell them dangers of that, period.
If they want messaging part of it, that's feasable(XMPP, PGP, TOX etc)
If they want posting part of it, not connected to real identity, fine too
But if you gonna connect real identity with your posts, don't act surprised when someone(or something) gonna connect 2+2
Just be aware of oversharing
