@xj9 @hobbsc first of all, #foss is everywhere in nearly every corporatate product. What you want to see is #federation acting as real alternative to centralized networks, right? This will only happen if censorship takes place and ppl have no alternative. In the meantime, let's enjoy ourselves and be happy. Of course you can still have your high goals, but they will likely not be fulfilled. And trust me, it has nothing to do with the features, the ui/ux or the quality of code. It's just that ppl are used to the corporatate product and there is no reason to switch.
