I have an issue with attachments' display in #andstatus (v17.1) on my gnusocial install: pictures don't show up in the timeline. I guess the problem is the site is private (I use it just for family and friends) thus attachments cannot be accessed unless the user is logged in or identified. It works fine with gnusocial.no.

@andstatus@loadaverage.org : can you think of any workarounds?
