    GNOME 3.28 to be released next week with many new features & improvements.

    GNOME will be the default DE for the upcoming Ubuntu 18.04 LTS, replacing Unity, so this matters quite a bit since Ubuntu is often the gateway to Linux.

    * GNOME Calculator and other packages now supporting Snap packaging as well as better Flatpak support.

    * HiDPI support for GNOME Music.

    * Many GTK4 changes, OpenGL renderer improvements, continued Vulkan support etc.
