Sean R. Lynch ☑️@endoffile @stolas @gdorn Yeah I think the medieval notion of governments having authority over particular land areas starts to break down once you have global trade. Trying to apply an obsolete form of sovereignty to global trade just makes no sense, and to the extent that governments fail to enter into international agreements to regulate, they lose their authority to do so IMO.
