Not sure whether leaving #Louisiana would get me to #NorCal, so I'll probably stick around here a little longer. Maybe I'll arrange to visit #Lafayette one Saturday and have lunch with @kulprit
-
My main bank card seems to be dying. No branches here, so I'd better buy some groceries before I call for replacement. It should take 3-5 days to reach ::1 in #SoCal, then another 5 days or so to get to #Louisiana.

Talking with Mark about $EMPLOYER field offices in which states are adding staff. Considering asking for release from assignment in #Louisiana in hope of grabbing a West Coast assignment.
-
@cphuntington97 Hey, I have only been in #Louisiana for six months. The previous 11 months, I was in #Missouri.
-
Speaking of slow cookers, in one of our near-daily phone calls, #sonTwo told me they have enough cooking equipment. He hinted that #Daddy_A might have a use for the things I've purchased in #Louisiana. ( #sonOne got the slow cooker, blender, #coffee maker that I bought in #Missouri, so he's not in need, either. ) Not that I expect to go home before May or possibly even as late as July.

@stitch I live in !SoCal. I've been working in #Louisiana for about six months (and in #Missouri for almost a year before that, with shorter stints in Maine and Alabama).
-
@nybill It would be great if we could bring a few pickups full of snow to #Baton_Rouge and charge people to participate in a real snowball fight. (Says the person who lives in !SoCal and has only thrown a couple of snowballs ever.) #LA #Louisiana

Didn't talk to #sonTwo yesterday. This morning, he heard about the #Louisiana tornadoes, so he texted.
I'm at least fifty miles from there.
-
@question If your #BOTmeister @erkanyilmaz went to visit me in #California, tell him to come see me in #Louisiana.
-
G'morning from #Baton_Rouge, #Louisiana!
-
Tornado watch in effect in parts of #Louisiana, but the weather is sunny & hazy, not stormy.
-
That was a noisy storm last night. Not so much the thunder, but the rain hitting nearby roofs. But so far, I've not heard of any tornadoes or new flooding hitting #Louisiana, so I guess it was a good storm.
-
Cold and wet (by southern US standards) in #Louisiana today and the next couple of days. #WeatherDotCom / #WeatherChannel shows Winter weather (mixed snow & rain) just North of #Lafayette and just North of Zachary / Baker / #Baton_Rouge. Cold rain passed through BR, Gonzales, Hammond, Covington a couple of hours ago.
Expected temps below freezing tonight.
-
Just a little rain in #Baton_Rouge, but rumors of snow in Monroe, #Louisiana.
-
Currently 44°F in #Baton_Rouge, #Louisiana. Maybe y'all should hop on a plane. ( @kulprit is ~1 hour away, too.)
-
Peril of living in #California and working elsewhere, I guess. Have had inconsistent INET access in #Louisiana for the past four months.
-
Tornado watch ("A few tornadoes possible; scattered wind gusts up to 70 MPH likely") in effect until 17:00 US-Central for several parishes in N, C, W #Louisiana and border counties in #Texas and #Arkansas. @kulprit @jonkulp

Time to start looking for some shirts / sweaters / jackets / sweatshirts with Southeastern #Louisiana University and Grambling State University logos on them for the #grandkids. http://url.federati.net/A9Xc8 https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grambling_State_University

Starting to suspect an AT&T INET outage across central and eastern #Louisiana. Though something internal could be happening, no reports from $EMPLOYER's out of state #TechTeam members.
-
@nds I was just in Albany a fee minutes ago. #Louisiana, of course.
