Je nachdem: Ich habe mit dem Wechsel des Initsystems unter Debiansystemen eher schlechte Erfahrungen gemacht. Bei einem letzten Versuch unter #Trisquel als Derivat seitens #Ubuntu wurde das komplette System unbrauchbar gemacht, da Abhängigkeiten bei der Entfernung entsprechend nicht ignoriert werden konnten.
Von daher bin ich vollends zu #Slackware und #Hyperbola gewechselt, weil mir tatsächlich der dortige Ansatz viel besser gefällt und auch mehr zusagt. :) -

The Lubuntu dev team finally switches from LXDE (Lightweight X11 Desktop Environment) to the more modern and actively maintained LXQt (Lightweight Qt Desktop Environment), the switch is now official.
LXQt gives users a classic light desktop with a modern look and feel, supported for a long time thanks to the Qt technologies (KDE Plasma is built on it too).
